uncertainty

all we crave for is a drop of certainty
it is not like anything is certain
you could die the next moment
but still we cling on to our myths.

the myth of certainty.

we go to colleges to get degrees
to make our future safe
so we have a drop of certainty
and then it's like we are at peace.

doing things the way they were done
is certainty for most
but then again
anything and everything can go wrong.

being a lesbian, gay,
or even deciding not to get married.
these are taboo, only because
they go against the myth of certainty.

to be at peace,
there is only one way
and that is
to embrace uncertainty.
